"Offensive" sign not allowed at McCain town-hall meeting: WHY?

In 2005, George W. Bush hosted a town-hall meeting in Denver, at which three law-abiding, ticket-holding Americans were removed from a public event because officials didn’t like the bumper sticker on their car. Three years later, John McCain hosted a town-hall meeting in Denver, and a law-abiding American was removed from a public event because officials didn’t like her homemade sign.

The woman who was ticketed for her innocuous sign, Carol Kreck, a 61-year-old librarian, asks a reasonable question: why would a Republican campaign find a “McCain=Bush” sign so offensive?

You gotta' know you're in big trouble when your candidate can't be equated with your president still sitting in the White House. And what's with this removing law-abiding people from public events? This started with the Bush/Cheney thugs -- and is still going on! And they talk about spreading our kind of "democracy" to others! The irony of it all is beyond the beyond!
