This woman has her head on backwards

http://www.brasschecktv.com/page/729.html

She represents all that is bad about the far right wing of the Republican party -- and of all authoritarian religions -- they indoctrinate and terrorize their members through FEAR, FEAR, FEAR!!!! In this video you can see the next generation being indoctrinated to be far right-wingers. And this woman is not even aware that she is the other side of the coin of the fanatical Muslims; they are exactly the same. This is how terrorists of all kinds are made.

FYI, I think the Harry Potter books are great!

Talk to your genes -- a good article

Posted: 07:04 PM ET

By Dr. Deepak Chopra

The best thing that could come out of the debate on health care reform won't be the passage of a bill in Congress. It will be a shift in personal attitudes. Health care happens one person at a time. So let me speak personally to you. If you want the best possible health for yourself, the most important thing you can do today is talk to your genes.

I doubt that any doctor has ever made that recommendation. All of us, including medical students, were led to believe that genes are fixed. The ones we are born with don't change; new ones cannot be added. Those facts remain the same, but there's a huge story being overlooked. Genes have no effect unless they are switched on, and when you switch on beneficial genes, every cell in your body benefits.

Recent research by Dr. Dean Ornish and his colleagues has shown that adopting positive measures including exercise, meditation, and diet creates beneficial changes in five hundred genes.

This single finding could revolutionize your health, because what it means is that every bite of food you eat, every step on the treadmill, every moment of deep relaxation is talking to your genes. And your genes talk back by sending chemical signals to every cell indicating how your life is going.

Genes are alert, and when you change anything in your life, they respond.

Nothing is left out. Your cells are getting chemical signals right now that tell them if you are in a good or bad mood. They know if you ate trans fats at lunch, if you are in love, or if you inhale polluted air.

Now is the time to take advantage of this breakthrough by talking to your genes in a new way. Forty years ago it was an uphill battle to convince Americans that smoking was dangerous, but eventually attitudes shifted and a major health risk was dramatically diminished. At present the big risks are just as controllable. They include obesity, sedentary living, and stress.

Start to talk to your genes about these issues. This isn't just another call to get you to exercise, meditate, and diet. Those are all good things, and yet most people ignore them. Why? Because despite their best intentions, people are conditioned by old habits. Your body can't break those habits on its own, but it can become your ally.

To win your body over, take a walk when it's beautiful outside, devote five minutes to meditation or stress management, nourish yourself with healthy food, and above all, be aware that the power to change rests with you. Small beginnings can lead to major results once you know that each step is like a conversation with your body. Your genes are listening. Tell them something good as often as you can.

New wrinkle in the Kennedy assassination

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/steven-m-gillon/a-new-wrinkle-in-the-jfk_b_339026.html

If you have an interest (as I do) in getting to the truth about the JFK assassination, a new book you might want to read is: JFK and the Unspeakable: Why He Died and Why It Matters by James Douglass. It gives details that make sense -- This reviewer tells it right:
If you want a cogent, serious read about the assassination, and a brave, logical exploration of the true motivation behind the killing, read Douglass's book. The establishment will try to smear him as a "peace activist" (God knows there's nothing worse than someone who works for peace), but he's got it right. Unlike many of the so-called "tell all" books about the assassination on the market today, Douglass points fingers at the people who GENUINELY had means, motive and opportunity to kill Kennedy. The author has done some thorough investigation and delivers interviews with people who were actually involved--including a CIA agent who managed to disengage himself from the plot by committing a victimless crime (shooting off a gun in a bank) that was sure to get him in jail and away from the plotters. Douglass sees Kennedy's "peace speech" of June 10,1963, as the watershed moment in the rift between Kennedy and the military-industrial-intelligence complex. No more wars, no more war profiteering, you say? No more president, they say.

No wonder Obama is walking the razor's edge since entering the White House!

Good Maureen Dowd column re. Catholic nuns

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/25/opinion/25dowd.html?_r=1&adxnnl=1&adxnnlx=1256484918-s8q3or2Jxj1ekboIfNGtgg

I am no longer a Catholic and haven't been for many years, but if I still were and I took a good look at Pope Benedict, that would definitely be the end of my affiliation with this church that is still in the Dark Ages, as far as women's rights are concerned. No wonder its numbers are dwindling -- and, although the priesthood still collects a number of boys here and there, NO ONE wants to become a nun. A friend of mine who grew up in Germany once told me her mother always referred to the Catholic hierarchy as "that black brood." I have come to think of them that way myself. Considering the history of the church, in which untold numbers of innocent people have been tortured and murdered in the name of Christ -- and the hidden mistresses and children of Popes and priests, plus the physical and sexual abuse of children and women within the church up to the present day, I often wonder why anyone stays there. With the Vatican's riches, it's not as if they need the money. But you'd never know that from all the appeals I still get from nuns and priests to help the poor with whom they continue to work. Why doesn't the Vatican distribute some of the vast amounts of their jewels and cash to those missionaries? The way I used to view the church and the way I see it now are totally different. My eyes have been opened.

Just my own opinion.

I think the kids would like this song and video

I was surfing through the internet looking at different organic foods sites and came upon this very sweet site that is connected with a macadamia nut farm on the Big Island of Hawaii. http://www.alwayschooselove.com/ The song they sing is wonderful for kids and adults alike -- and I love to watch the hula dancers dancing to it... I like the philosophy of the site, too, and that they have a garden made especially to attract butterflies and hummingbirds... I'm grateful for people like this in our world...

"Always Choose Love” is a philosophy...and a choice. It's a choice that inquires into what it actually means to function in peace, appreciation and joy even within a larger culture of mass negativity and fear. To choose to offer encouragement and kindness, instead of contributing to hopelessness and ill-will. To choose to give our restless minds something gracious and restorative to tune into, rather than succumb to the paralysis of cynicism and apathy. To choose to trust....the vast mystery of life itself, even when things around us are challenging or don't make sense.

We're learning what it means to be of service, and how doing so enriches our lives. Sometimes it's not easy! But the alternative does nothing to enoble humankind or nurture the abundant life of this astonishing planet. Very simply, doing our best is this choice...

We invite you to enjoy this song as a gentle reminder to think positively, forgive easily, and dive deeply into the truth and unity of Love.

And thank you for joining us on this beautiful journey....

The wonders of tumeric

From one amazon.com reviewer of Suzanne Somers' new book Knockout: Interviews with Doctors Who Are Curing Cancer: Tumeric is one of the most powerful cancer inhibitors. (One note on tumeric--several years ago, I read that there is a significantly low incidence of Alzheimer's Disease in India. Studies proved it was due to the high consumption of tumeric. Lately, I read that tumeric is great in preventing inflammation, increases memory, and a whole bunch of other fantastic qualities. You can buy it in capsule form if you don't eat much of it.

Pentagon used psychological operation on US public

SO WHAT ELSE IS NEW???

A months-long review of documents and interviews with Pentagon personnel has revealed that the Bush Administration's military analyst program -- aimed at selling the Iraq war to the American people -- operated through a secretive collaboration between the Defense Department's press and community relations offices....

Diane Farsetta, a senior researcher at the Center for Media and Democracy, which monitors publics relations and media manipulation, said calling the program “outreach” was “very calculatedly misleading” and another example of how the project was “inherently deceptive.”

“This has been their talking point in general on the Pentagon pundit program,” Farsetta explained. “You know, ‘We’re all just making sure that we’re sharing information.’”

Farsetta also said that it’s “pretty stunning” that no one, including Whitman, has been willing to take any responsibility for the program and that the Pentagon Inspector General’s office and Congress have yet to hold anyone accountable.

“It’s hard to think of a more blatant example of propaganda than this program,” Farsetta said.

Cull said the revelations are “just one more indication that the entire apparatus of the US government’s strategic communications -- civilian and military, at home and abroad -- is in dire need of review and repair.”

Video explaining today's vituperative political scene

A must-see video! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/10/16/george-hw-bush-olbermann_n_324466.html

Ron Suskind's evaluation is right on. Bush 41's reference to Maddow and Olbermann was a throw-away line, designed to mollify the right-wing crazies. Bush's real targets were Beck, Limbaugh, and the other nuts who have usurped the GOP and its message. The Republican Party has been hijacked by a shrunken hardened core, in which confrontational, dangerous words are being thrown around, without thought or factual basis--and have the potential to lead to terrible consequences. Bush 41 and his cronies recognize this and are appalled at what their party has turned into (albeit because of their own sow-to-the-wind-and-reap-the-whirlwind actions in the past). The whirlwind of Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck and their ilk is now threatening to blow them all away.

If I were a member of the Republican party today and looked around to see what kind of "messengers" were surrounding me and purporting to speak for me, I would be horrified to find myself in the midst of enraged escapees from an insane asylum. I think Bush 41 is experiencing that horror, and probably some guilt as well, because he himself set modern-day attack politics into motion years ago--with the help of Roger Ailes and Lee Atwater. With their outrageous lies and non-factual attacks, they brought into our world the-end-justifies-the-means politics--and that has been carried to today's extremes by the Limbaughs, Becks, Coulters, and the like.

Important Life Question

This posting is for anyone who has ever wondered "Who am I?" in the deepest kind of searching questioning. It's for those who have read the findings of quantum scientists and, like the scientists themselves, felt their minds being blown away by the implication that everything we see in the material world, including our own bodies and minds, is an illusion. It is for those who have pursued spiritual understanding (rather than "religious") and yet felt they have never quite gotten to the elusive core answer (elusive to the mind, that is). John Wheeler is a much-valued friend -- who sees clearly, and who consistently presents the following simple clear understanding to those who are looking for the answer to the question "Who am I--really?" I include this posting for all those who, like myself, have pursued this question for years, knowing it to be the most important question to be asked in one's lifetime -- but not knowing where or how to find the answer. I thank John for presenting the answer so clearly and cogently that, after years of searching, it finally became clear to me in an instant. My gratitude to John and Sailor Bob Adamson and Nisargadatta Maharaj (through whom this understanding has been presented in a kind of lineage) is beyond what words can say.

Seeing the Essence
by John Wheeler

In my first conversation with Bob Adamson, the very first thing he asked me was (as I recall it), “Well, do you know what it is? Do you know what Nisargadatta Maharaj understood and what he was pointing to? Is it absolutely clear yet?” I remained silent. All my former concepts and acquired knowledge were utterly useless. After a pause, he asked me, “Do you exist right now? Are you aware right now?” I said, “Yes.” He said, “That’s it! That is what is being pointed out. It is your own being and awareness. You know it already. It is just recognizing this. There is nothing more to know beyond this.”

In the course of talking with Bob, it became clear to me that all the things that we normally do in the name of spiritual seeking take us farther and farther away from the heart of the matter, the essential understanding. The direct understanding of who we are requires no time, no effort, no practice and no maintenance. In fact, all of those things are based on wrong ideas. As a result, they only obscure the direct seeing of what is clearly present. There are no levels of understanding; there is nothing to maintain or cultivate; there are no levels of awakening; there is nothing to embody; there is nothing which needs to deepen. All of these things imply time, which is simply a mental concept. They also imply a separate individual to traverse through the various stages and experiences. None of these things exist in the presence-awareness. Existence can never become more existent. Awareness can never become more aware. The absence of a separate “I” can never become more absent.

It is not to say that all those states and experiences do not appear to occur for one who takes himself to be a seeker. But they only carry on as long as the essential understanding is not clear. Some people call insights that occur along the way “awakenings.” In that case, another word is coined for the “final” understanding. Some call that “liberation” or “enlightenment.” The spiritual verbiage often obscures the heart of the matter, which is the clear seeing of what is present, here and now.

In the recognition of presence-awareness, as it is, it is clear that all talk of “awakening versus liberation,” “levels of understanding,” “embodying the understanding,” “going deeper,” not to mention all forms of practicing, striving and seeking, only arise from a lack of clarity and are not ultimately real. They only arise at the level of conceptual thought, when the essence is not understood.

Teachers that uncompromisingly point to the essential understanding and refuse to support any conceptual positions, even spiritual ones, are comparatively rare. They are like bright mirrors that reflect your own true nature without the least distortion. In some sense, you experience this by the amount of clarity you feel and how clearly the understanding unfolds for you. With this kind of uncompromising pointing, your understanding is swift, powerful and lasting. You see profound changes in how you view and experience life. You no longer need to wait for the next awakening, the next book, the next satsang or the next retreat in order to “get it.” There remain no unanswered questions and doubts. You no longer struggle with conditioning, getting and losing it, falling back into ignorance, dealing with unresolved states, etc.

From the start, you are shown that: “It is your own being and awareness. You know it already. It is just recognizing this. There is nothing more to know beyond this.”

***

Your own sense of existence-awareness is immediately known and available at all times. It is not an attainment. There is no technique or process involved. You cannot gain it or lose it. It is here now. Knowing this fully is all the enlightenment there is. You just need to see it clearly.

Thoughts and experiences never obscure your true nature. It is always completely free and available. We just didn’t see it because we were looking in the wrong direction. Once it is clearly pointed out, we can see this quickly and with no effort. Once you see that who you are is constantly with you, you don’t have an experience of moving in and out of peace or clarity. It is only due to contrary concepts that we seem to lose it; in fact, the thoughts are mistaken. Once we see this, the thoughts lose their grip.

The belief that you are a separate person is the cause of all ignorance, suffering, anxiety, doubt, fear, etc. — that is, all self-centered activity. Have a direct look to see if you can find the person you have imagined yourself to be. Ask yourself questions such as, “Am I really separate from my nature as presence-awareness?” and “Does the assumed separate person that I imagine myself to be really exist?” This is not a practice or technique. You just have to look directly and clearly. Once you see that there never has been a person, all problems are resolved conclusively. All problems are for the person, not for your real nature. You just get clear on what you really are and that is the end of the game. This does not take time really. It is more a matter of clear seeing.

As long as there is a remnant of belief in separation, the separation seems to continue. But it is all imagination based on a lack of questioning. A few well-placed questions dismantle the whole façade and you find yourself — easily and naturally — in your natural state of clarity, presence and freedom. And it does not leave you. You cannot lose what you are.

***

The mind is just a tool of the awareness. The thoughts appear in the awareness. However, whether the mind is present or not, the awareness still remains. For example, when thoughts are present, there is a knowingness of them. And when the mind is still or non-active, there is a knowingness of the absence of thoughts.

Even if there is no thinking about an individual “I,” there is still the awareness. Awareness just silently illumines the thinking, perceiving and all kinds of relative knowing. Like I have said elsewhere, it is like the sun constantly shining above the clouds no matter what is happening below. That is your true nature. There are no clouds in your real being. It is always fair and clear. No chance of rain.

***

Teachings recorded in books don’t seem to be enough to trigger the understanding in a direct way for most seekers. They give a hint or taste, but cannot fulfill the heart’s deepest yearnings. Thus, for a lot of us, there arises the need for a living contact. I know there are cases of spontaneous understanding, but they don’t seem to be all that common. On the other hand, there are hundreds, even thousands, of records of this understanding happening in the context of a teacher and student relationship. What is the key here?

Well, I can talk from my experience with Bob Adamson. He knew what he was talking about. He lived the experience. Because of this understanding, he was able to focus on the key points and avoid all the irrelevancies. He had been guided to this by a superb teacher (Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj). Most importantly, there was a powerful presence or energy behind his words. I would not call it anything mystical, just a confidence and clarity born of knowing. It is hard to understand this until you actually experience it.

I keep saying in various ways that this understanding is not dependent on time, but rather on seeing what is true — even now. Even my talking about understanding tends to make it sound like there is some such thing. There really isn’t! It is hard to convey in words because the mind wants to read them and turn them into a goal, as if “the understanding” is not here, and then start trying to get “it.” It really is not like that, even though we imagine it to be. When I met Bob and talked to him, he “blew me out of the water.” I felt like a train hitting into the side of a granite mountain. Full stop. I am not implying it was a painful or dramatic experience, but rather the machinery of the mind just hit an impasse, due to the simplicity of what was being pointed to.

In various words, the essence came down to:

What is pointed to is the very sense of presence and awareness that is here right now. It is fully present, fully realized, and fully known. You are actually fully enlightened, fully awake, fully realized NOW. The mind balks at this. It wants something tricky, mystical or subtle. The mind will never get this. PERIOD. I never would have understood this had Bob not picked me up (metaphorically speaking) and bodily thrown me headlong into it. The moment I tried to emerge by bringing back my mind and questions, he would push me back into the fact of the immediacy of this present-awareness. There was a back-and-forth momentum for a few talks with him, but he absolutely would not budge from this, and all my “escape routes” were annihilated. All my excuses, like “It can’t be this,” “This is too easy,” and all the doubts, questions and “what ifs” just got blasted out from under me, even as I tried to formulate them.

This is why I have such a high regard for a good teacher. Of course, without that type of guidance, the seeking may go on ad infinitum. A waste of time, if you ask me!

In the last analysis, though, all that is being pointed to is the fact of your own being. Knowing your real nature is the essential point. So, whether you come to this knowing spontaneously or with the guidance of a teacher, ultimately does not matter. One way or another, you just need to see the essence for yourself.

Just what we need -- a Palin/Cheney ticket -- God help us!

Daisy Chain of Cheneys
by Maureen Dowd, NY Times

I imagine that if you called the new consulting firm of Cheney, Cheney & Cheney and got put on hold, you’d hear the “Ghostbusters” theme:

“If there’s someone weak,

if you’ve sprung a leak,

if the world looks bleak,

if you hide and seek,

who ya gonna call?

OBAMABUSTERS!”

It’s hard to believe that the Bush dynasty, which limped away in disgrace after smashing our economy and the globe, has spawned another political dynasty.

But Jason Horowitz reported in The Washington Post that Mary Cheney, the younger daughter of the former vice president, is starting a consulting firm modeled on Kissinger Associates.

Since it involves the Cheneys, it’s shrouded in unnecessary secrecy. But Mary’s friends say her plan is to make it Cheney cubed, bringing in her dad and big sister, Liz, when those two finish cleaning out the Augean stables of Dick Cheney’s legacy for his memoir.

Horowitz wrote that Mary, who is expecting her second child with her partner, Heather Poe, next month, may be hanging the shingle for the “gruff clan who speak in dour unison when bashing the current president, second-guessing the previous commander in chief and chiding wayward G.O.P. leaders.”

The influence-peddling firm will be wildly successful, no doubt, because if anyone has shown a golden touch, it’s Dick Cheney. And there are bound to be oodles of clients who want coaching on how to make things look totally the opposite of what they are.

Saudis, right-wing dictators and Bernie Madoff calling for image makeovers? Scooter Libby calling to see how to get his career back after taking the fall for his scheming boss? Rush Limbaugh calling to strategize about how to buy an N.F.L. team with black players as he says offensive things about blacks? Rupert Murdoch seeking tips on how to merge Fox and NBC into Brian O’Hannity?

You can hear a receptionist chirping: “Cheney, Cheney & Cheney. Who would you like to target today?”

Regarding bipartisanship with the same contempt as multilateralism and multiculturalism, the Cheneys have led the charge against Obama, painting him as a wishy-washy loser who has turned America to mush. On Fox News last Sunday, Liz Cheney — who still talks about having “liberated” Iraq — called Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize a “farce” and suggested that he “send the mother of a fallen American soldier to accept the prize on behalf of the U.S. military.”

The blonde 43-year-old lawyer, a mother of five hailed by her fans as “a red state rock star,” teamed up this week with Bill Kristol to start a new group called “Keep America Safe.” Kristol, of course, was the chief proponent of the wacky notion that Dan Quayle, and later Sarah Palin, could Keep America Safe, which somewhat undermines the urgency and gravity of the group’s moniker.

And Liz’s dear old dad was the one who made America less safe by straining our military to the breaking point while carrying out his knuckleheaded theory of pre-emptive war. Still, Liz hopes her new enterprise will energize opponents of President Obama’s “radical” foreign policy, as she has tried to do so volubly on cable shows, and raise money by presenting the president as a callow, wobbly, golf-playing appeaser whose foreign policy will “make us weaker.”

The Web site features a daily Willie Hortonish detainee feature, profiling one of the scary swarthy prisoners at Gitmo. And it will also have all kinds of fun reading, like memos by Bush lawyers on enhanced interrogation. (Or, as it’s more commonly known outside the gargoyled gates of Cheneyville, torture.)

The “Keep America Safe” mission statement says that “the current administration too often seems uncertain, wishful, irresolute, and unwilling to stand up for America, our allies and our interests.”

It’s evocative of an earlier effort by conservatives to prod a Democratic president to man-up, hectoring him about his “inadequate” foreign policy and his course of “weakness and drift.”

That was a 1998 letter to President Bill Clinton from the Project for the New American Century, with signers such as Kristol, Paul Wolfowitz, Donald Rumsfeld, Richard Perle and John Bolton, urging a strategy that “should aim, above all, at the removal of Saddam Hussein’s regime from power.” (Dick Cheney and Scooter Libby signed the project’s statement of principles.)

Kristol joked to Politico’s Ben Smith that the venture might serve as a launching pad for Liz to run for office. (A Senate bid from Virginia, where she lives, or Wyoming, which she still calls home?)

That raises the terrifying specter that some day we could see a Palin-Cheney ticket, promoted by Kristol.

Sarah would bring her content-free crackle and gut instincts; Liz would bring facts and figures distorted by ideology. Pretty soon, we’re pre-emptively invading Iran and the good times are rolling all over again.

Repug "patriots" cheer against their own country

Hatred of Obama Overpowers Their Sanity and professed "Patriotism"

The following is from www.crooksandliars.com

I do think that the wingnut glee in the IOC deciding to award Rio with the 2016 Olympics has really been a perfect example to show how reactionary the republicans and conservatives have become. Actively cheering something that would have helped an American city (and American jobs and the economy) just because they perceive it as hurting the president? Serious derangement.

On Meet the Press, Rachel Maddow just can't believe the level of Obama Derangement Syndrome necessary to cheer against an American victory:

The unseemly cheering on the right for America losing the Olympic bid I think is going to be the taste that lingers a long time after this failure. Certainly, the President tried to get something and he didn’t get it, and people who hate the President feel like that’s a cause for celebration, but to see, for example, the Weekly Standard, post “Chicago loses! Chicago loses! Cheers erupt at Weekly Standard headquarters” I think says a lot more about the Weekly Standard, says a lot more about the right right now than it does about this loss.

I know that facts are pesky and frequent ignorable and non-essential things for conservatives, but all four final candidate countries were represented by their respective head of state. If Obama hadn't gone, the right would have excoriated him for losing the bid because he didn't show. And it's the same hubris and American exceptionalism that dismisses that King Carlos of Spain and Japanese Prime Minister Hatoyama were also snubbed. So there was no scenario in which Obama could have not gotten slammed by these wingnuts.

And it is in that Catch-22 that the wingnuts lose even more supporters, because these idiots are happy for failure for this country just to score some cheap political points, as Republican strategist Mike Murphy so aptly proves.

These are the people to guide America? I don't think so. They don't care about America. They don't care about Americans. It's the same mentality that fights against real health care reform, and helping struggling homeowners over insurance companies and financial institutions. And try as they might, Americans saw that "party over everything" attitude in 2008 and voted accordingly. And if the right keeps letting the wingnuts control the dialog like this, I have no fears over 2012 either.

The Politics of Spite - (Truer words were never spoken)

Krugman says right wingers have the emotional maturity of bratty 13-year-olds. Often, I look at them and their inconsistent, illogical arguments, based on sheer hatred of Obama, and think they are more like spoiled nursery school children, whining and screaming, "It's MINE! Give it BACK! It's MINE!" They can't abide losing and they don't give a rat's whisker about the needs of the American people. Their hatred takes precedence and guides their political actions. There are only a few mature members left among them, and those people are cringing at what now represents their party: Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Ann Coulter, Sarah Palin, Joe the Plumber and the like. Krugman has it right when he says If Republicans think something might be good for the president, they’re against it — whether or not it’s good for America.

I Just watched a 2-hour History Channel documentary

called I Know What I Saw. It was a very informative presentation of credible military, government, pilots and astronaut witnesses of UFOs -- not only from our country, but from many other countries. Very interesting show. You can see a trailer of this documentary at: http://www.iknowwhatisawthemovie.com/trailer.html and order it if you are interested in seeing it. The witnesses give information in great detail and their credentials (and honesty) are irrefutable. For anyone who has up till now thought UFO believers/witnesses are "nuts" and "kooks", this would be a good documentary to view. You might find it hard to doubt the sincerity of Gordon Cooper, Edgar Mitchell, Lord Norton-Hill of the UK, and the many, many others with their well-documented eyewitness reports. As Lord Norton Hill says about one of the best documented sightings that took place at an air base in the UK, manned by military from the U.S., "When you hear the report from the Col. on the air base, and the same story from 30-40 of the men who also observed this extraordinary UFO (saw it land, touched it, etc.), and then hear the government deny the event, you have to make up your mind: either the Colonel and all those men are hallucinating -- or the government is lying. If the government is telling the truth and the Col. and his men are all hallucinating, that is a story that must be investigated, since they were in charge of a very important base on which we depended for our security."

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED documentary for anyone who wants to know the truth that is being kept from the American people on this subject. Other countries' governments have admitted and reported to their citizens that extraterrestrial UFOs are visiting our planet. This can be an eye opener for the skeptics who want proof. One of my favorites was about the recent sighting in Stephenville, Texas -- several of the witnesses there were quick to admit they had been the kind who ridiculed others who claimed to have seen UFOs and thought them to be nut cases -- until they saw this for themselves. These are no-nonsense good ol' boys whose world view has been very shaken up by what they witnessed.
