Bush is the worst president in history

The following articles were written several months ago -- and the Bush presidency has gotten worse since then--to the point that he is now a pariah in the world.  It couldn't have happened to a more deserving man. His only friends now are Barney the dog and Laura the wife...and I have my doubts about Barney. Maybe Laura, too, although she is cast in the Stepford Wife mold to a degree that hasn't been seen since Pat Nixon. Those Republican presidents are not known for allowing equality to their wives -- and, in both of these cases, the wives were/are far superior human beings to the men they had the misfortune to marry.  I can't say the same for Lynne Cheney -- she seems to be a perfect match for her aptly named husband Dick.  Those two certainly deserve each other, but our country did not deserve them. The day they and the Bushes came into our national lives was a day of great sorrow and infamy. If only it--and they--could be erased from history and we could be returned to where we were before they took office--with Al Gore, the rightful winner of the 2000 election, ready to take office as president!!!
