INCREDIBLE STORY ON FRONTLINE: THE CONFESSIONS

One not to be missed -- a grave miscarriage of justice with twists and turns that would make a best-selling crime novel.  Only it's all true.  Watch and be horrified at what can happen to innocent people when police investigators and courts do a rotten job and then refuse to back down, even when it has been proven they are wrong--and innocent lives hang in the balance.  Remember the case of the West Memphis Three (Paradise Lost)? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Memphis_Three   Those kids are still in a prison in Arkansas, with one of them still under a death sentence.  Well, this story has a resemblance to that case -- another southern court (this time in Virginia).

I watched the entire video and was horrified with the police not doing their job but instead took the easy way out to solve the crime. What amazed me was instead of looking for the real murderer which would have been a lot easier then taking fabricated (forced) confessions from innocent men. When the real murderer confessed the police the courts and the state of Virginia refused to admit they were wrong and free the men. I hope when the courts realize the mistake and the men are free that the men will sue all the parties involved in this miscarriage of justice.
