We, the People -- Occupying Wall Street

God bless these wonderful protesters who are demonstrating on Wall Street, showing that We, the People are not going to just lie down and take it anymore. They are being joined by protesters in other cities around the country.  This is the beginning of a much-needed New American Revolution by people who are tired of shouldering the entire burden for the country while the rich and their children sit on their yachts and enjoy their multiple homes, as they demand that the little people (many now without jobs) bail them out.  These leeches take and take and take -- and never give back.  It is time to right that injustice, and "We, the People" are on the march toward fairness in government!

In contrast, to see video of the rich Wall Streeters from above, drinking champagne while watching protestors be abused and arrested by police who are in the pockets of the wealthy, doing their bidding at every turn, click on:  http://www.smirkingchimp.com/thread/dave-johnson/38687/occupy-wall-street-day-12-poised-to-take-off

OCCUPYING WALL STREET

"We are occupying Wall Street. We will not be moved."

"Occupy Wall Street is leaderless resistance movement with people of many colors, genders and political persuasions. The one thing we all have in common is that We Are The 99% that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%."

"We are the 99 percent. We are getting kicked out of our homes. We are forced to choose between groceries and rent. We are denied quality medical care. We are suffering from environmental pollution. We are working long hours for little pay and no rights, if we're working at all. We are getting nothing while the other 1 percent is getting everything. We are the 99 percent. "

People Have Had It!

This is what happens when people have had it. The "Occupy Wall Street" crowd has been there for almost 2 weeks, camping out, saying they're fed up and are going to stay until American democracy is restored.
