Palin and her acquaintance John McCain are speaking in Iowa as I write this

Her voice is so grating, twangy, and shrill...Gad, I couldn't stand to listen to that on a regular basis. Please, oh powers that be, take pity on us and make sure she doesn't get to the White House!

I wonder how McCain is feeling having to be just a shadow figure in this election, with everyone shouting "We want Sarah! We want Sarah!" wherever they go. It must gall him that they always have to campaign together, because he can't get a crowd to come just to see him alone. Reporters are saying in most cases much of the crowd departs after Sarah gives her spiel, leaving McCain to speak to a scanty group. That's got to make him feel really "good" inside, especially knowing how he feels about women. You can tell that by the way he treated his first wife, leaving her for a young Cindy heiress, after wife No. 1 had an auto accident that crippled her. And now he treats Cindy in a cold, angry manner--you can see just by looking at their interactions with each other that they do not have a happy marriage. Her smile, when she can manage one, is frozen in place. In front of a number of journalists, he blew up at Cindy who was running her fingers through his hair and made the grave mistake of commenting, "You're getting a little thin on top, John." He erupted like a volcano with a vicious comeback: "Well, at least I don't plaster makeup on like a trollop, you cunt!" So much for McCain "family values."

Now, given that as background, you can just imagine how undelighted he must be with Sarah's popularity. If somehow they succeed in fooling enough people into voting for them, how do you think he will treat Sarah once he and Cindy and Sarah and "First Dude" are all ensconced in the White House? Cindy has already let it slip that she will probably live mostly in Arizona, as she has all during McCain's Senate years. And "First Dude" and Sarah, being who they are (it is being revealed daily how they run Alaska, wreaking vengeance on those they see as their enemies), will try to take over and run things when McCain falters, as we know he will. He is mentally doddering already (just what we need in a president after what we have endured the past eight years with an idiot in the White House!) and has been battling a potentially fatal melanoma cancer for several years. The chances of a Palin presidency being thrust upon us are devastatingly possible.

Oh, what wonderful years lie ahead for us, should this Palin package be sold to the public at large. Canada, here we all come!!!
