Thank you, Bush & Cheney

For the present state of affairs, Republicans can thank themselves for voting for Bush & Cheney. (Twice!) Ignoring the warnings of the rest of us who were seeing clearly where the neocons were taking us, the dyed-in-the-wool Republicans continued (and some even now, STILL continue) to support the Bush/Cheney regime. Oh yes, and we must thank the Supreme Court for selecting Bush & Cheney for us in the first place, even though the majority had not voted for them.

The rest of us have had to endure the horrible ride to which we have been subjected, which is now ending in financial disaster for our country and its middle-class citizens. The finally admitted "recession" is sliding downward into the big "D" word that no one wants to utter...and all the world's citizens are looking on in dismay, knowing their economic future is tied to ours. Thank you, Bush & Cheney. Thank you, Republicans. Thank you, Democratic Congress members who refused to initiate impeachment against these dangerous, power-and-greed-driven idiots.

As a Democratic president in 2009 desperately searches for ways to stem the tide of disasters brought on us by the worst administration in U.S. history, we can be certain of one thing: the Republicans who voted for Bush & Cheney (Twice!) will be screaming that everything is all the fault of the Democrats.

That's the way it is on Bizarro World where millions of us are stuck, through no seeming fault of our own. Let us Pray.
