Deadly Heat Wave hits southeast and midwest

Here in coastal California we are having a year without a summer, with very cool temps, fog, and overcast days much of the time--even to the point of having to turn on the furnace (I have not yet resorted to that!). I'm not complaining about it, though, especially when I read about the heat wave hitting much of the rest of the nation.

Yet, some people still don't believe in global warming. What would it ever take to convince them?
