Great documentary on Netflix

Under Our Skin is an enlightening documentary re. Lyme disease -- If you missed it in the movie theater, it's a 5 star documentary, well worth watching.  Is now in Netflix Instant Play.  Here's a review of it:
Informative documentary about a highly controversial subject: the chronic effects of Lyme disease if not promptly diagnosed and properly treated. While the mainstream medical community now recognizes Lyme disease as a bacterial infection usually transmitted by ticks found in wooded areas of the East and West coasts, usually amenable to treatment with antibiotics if caught early, others studying the disease believe that the territorial scope and rate of infection and its long-term effects are much greater. This film takes the latter view and addresses the issue both from the perspective of patients struggling with debilitating symptoms (and their families) and from those medical experts struggling to help such patients despite the dearth of research and widely recognized treatments. Because chronic symptoms (including fatigue, muscle pain, swollent joints, and neurologic deficiencies) often mimic those of more widely known diseases, patients often see multiple doctors, receive other diagnoses and misinformation, and treatment/non-treatment that fails to improve their symptoms. Recommended for anyone interested in learning more about this issue or interested in medical issues generally.
