Powell was manipulated by Cheney into Iraq War

My, my...and well, well.  Strange, isn't it, that a little old middle-class housewife like me, knew at the time it was happening that Cheney was manipulating everyone and that he and Bush were lying in their determination to attack Iraq?  Gosh, I wonder how Colin Powell, "smart" man that he is, missed the oh-so-obvious clues that alerted me?  Don't you just get sick and tired of these jerks coming out of the woodwork years after their dirty deeds have been done, pleading, "I didn't know!"  Yeah. Right. 

It is disgusting what we Americans have put up with in our so-called "leadership."  But then, you have to look at the willingness of most of the population (especially right wing Southerners and Midwesterners) to have the wool pulled over their eyes, again and again and again -- voting against their own interests and leading us straight into the wars that benefit the wealthy corporatists who actually rule our world.  With so many voters eager and willing to be fooled over and over, it will remain impossible to establish any kind of justice or order in the world.
