A good article for both men and women to read, by Deborah Tannen, a professor of linguistics at Georgetown University and the author of “You Were Always Mom’s Favorite! Sisters in Conversation Throughout Their Lives.” Although my dearly loved blood sister is gone and I miss her and our chats very much, I still have "sisters" among my dear friends and am exceedingly grateful for them!
