Shameful Republican Party

Wouldn't it be great if Republicans would come into the 21st century, instead of hovering around the 14th on social issues?  It is shameful that they don't accept gay and women's rights.  The attacking behavior that some of them display in hounding gays and supporters of women's rights is beyond ignorance -- it is blatantly ugly and stupid.
