Cheney/Bush legacy: Iraq, a shattered country

IRAQ IN CHAOS AS MILITANTS TAKE OVER SECOND LARGEST CITY

This hideous outcome was predicted and warned against by the wise, as Cheney/Bush lied to take us into the needless war in Iraq. Remember the wonderfully assuring pictures painted by Cheney and Rumsfeld?  Iraqis would greet us as liberators...yeah, sure. We were bringing "freedom" to Iraq...yeah, sure.  The war would be over in just a few days or weeks...yeah, sure.  The oil in Iraq would pay for the cost of the war...yeah, sure.  Only a few of our congressional representatives could see ahead to the true cost of a needless war started on lies--and voted against it. To his everlasting credit, among that small group was Barack Obama.  Let us not forget that Hillary Clinton was among the drum-beaters for the war. 

Cheney, Bush and Rumsfeld are terrorists of the worst kind in this world. In order to satisfy their greed and lust for power, they set in motion the destruction of an entire nation and sent our troops into a devastating war on lies.  They doomed the population of Iraq to years of terror and war -- and, in the bargain, they condemned thousands of U.S. young men and women to death and/or horrible disability.  

These evil men should be in irons right now, awaiting punishment for their crimes against humanity. Yet they continue blissfully on with their golden lives, filled with the benefits of the wealthy elite--and are STILL defending their horrendous decisions and actions, even while witnessing the death and destruction they have rained down on the world!!! 

Whether or not they believe in karma, it does exist. And it will get them in the end.
