A little poem

A little ditty came to me as I was drifting to sleep a couple nights ago...so I jotted it down.

The Value of Curiosity

Earth life is so very short
We should not waste a minute
To find out what it's all about,
And who and why we're in it.

Curiosity killed a cat
But lack of it is worse
Without it you will drift through life
And end up in a hearse.

As kids we looked up at the sky
In a state of awe
All those stars! All that space!
What was all this we saw?

Don't lose that wonderment you felt
In your years of youth
Ask the question: Who am I?
Until you find the Truth.
