If you want some laughs--or heavy sighs--listen to Sarah Palin's speech in Iowa this past weekend. Painful to hear...but I endured my way through it. With heavy sighs.
Some (Tea Partiers) may have a different reaction, like most of her audience there, who cheered her nonsensical ramblings. But thinking Republicans, worried about finding a candidate who can win in 2016, were very disappointed with the pettiness and disconnectedness of her speech. Suffice to say, she will not be considered as a candidate -- or even as a speech-maker for a 2016 candidate, except in places where coherent substance is not appreciated or required--and where style is thought to be perfect when meaningless, haphazard mental wanderings are shrilly shouted out in "down-home, folksy" words that drop their endings.
In case you want to hear what we could have gotten stuck with as our vice president or (horrors) president, you can see/hear her speech at: http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2015-01-26/video-reliving-sarah-palin-s-painful-petty-incoherent-speech
But you might want to spare yourself 35 minutes of pain.
